Oshkosh M1120 HEMTT is a modern American heavy truck. The first HEMMT vehicles entered the US Army in 1982 and remained with the M1120 version. The length of the M1120 vehicle (without trailer) is 10.21 meters and the width is 2.44 meters. The truck is operated with a single Caterpillar C15 diesel engine with 515 HP power. The maximum speed of M1120 is 100 km/h. HEMTT (Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck) was developed by Oshkosh Corporation in the early 1980s. It is based on a fourteen chassis and thus has excellent terrain features and registered transportation opportunities for vehicles in this class. In the 1980s and 1990s, HemTT trucks became the real "horses" of the US Army. In 1999, the M1120 version equipped with a special installation system (LHS), which allows the transport of various cargo species, including containers, emerged. The load capacity of the vehicle is 11 tons but is usually limited to 10 tons. HEMTT vehicles, as well as others, Iraq (2003) or Afghanistan operations took part.
