Type VII U-Boths were the German submarines that began in 1936. The lengths of the type VII units ranged from 64.5 m to 77.6 m, 5.85 m to 7.3 m and underwater displacement between 725 tons and 1181 tons. The maximum surface speed of Type VII U-boths was approximately 17 knots and the maximum underwater speed was approximately 8 knots. The main arming was a total of 11-16 torpedo and 5 533 mm torpedo tube. Secondary arms, 1 88 mm ball, 1 20 mm anti -aircraft ball or 1 37 mm ball and VII D and VII F 2 backups consisted of 20 mm wholesale.

Type VII U-Boths formed the basis of the German weapon in the Atlantic Battle and created the most produced submarine series in maritime history! The next version was the type VII D, which served as underwater mine ships. The latest version, which was put into service, was the type VII F, designed as a special section on the back of the control tower, designed as underwater torpedo carrier. However, due to changes in the facts of the Atlantic and the shorter of the patrol range of other U-boths, TİP VII F was used as underwater transport vessel. During the period from 1936 to 1945, approximately 700 submarines of this type were built.
