SD.KFZ 251 was a German, middle, semi -crawled armored transport tool from the Second World War. The first prototypes of the vehicle were built in 1935 and mass production continued between 1939-1945 and ended with about 14,500 production. SD.KFZ 251 was run with Maybach HL 42 Turkm, a six -cylinder engine of 100 horsepower.

SD.KFZ 251 was developed as the new, basic semi -palette carrier of the German Armed Forces. The design was based on a severe tractor by changing several elements on the adapted chassis: a new fuel tank was added, the location of the steering wheel was changed and the exhaust system was redesigned. During mass production, the four basic versions of SD.KFZ 251 (AUSF.
