Hobbytime Review

PZKPFW I (Panzerkampfwagen I) was a German light tank from the Second World War. The first prototypes of the vehicle were created in 1933 and mass production continued during the 1934-1939 period and ended with the production of approximately 2,000 cars. Version A of the tank was operated with a single Krupp M305 57HP engine. Two 7,92 mm mg 13 machine guns were placed in the tower. The first study on PZKPFW began in 1930 with the start of a tracked vehicle for discovery and weapon transportation in contradiction with the provisions of the Versailles Treaty of the German Arms Department in 1930. The Krupp company followed the British designs of the concern of Vickers, but rapidly seized the leadership in these works without accessing British technologies. In 1933, the first crawled chassis was created to train drivers, and in 1934, with the Germans terminated the Versailles agreement, mass production was started. A and B. Version A was the first version produced, and the version B had a modernized suspension and a new engine (Maybach NL 38 TR). Other vehicles were built on the chassis of this vehicle; For example, the command tool (Panzerbefehlswagen I) or Panzergager I tank hunter. PZKPFW I tanks in the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939), in the September Operation, the Norway Operation (1940), in the Operations in France (1940), the Balkans (1941) and - the first stage of the war with the Soviet Union (1941) were already completely outdated.
