Nissan produced Skyline GT-R, a high-performance model of the Skyline Sedan-type vehicle between 1969 and 1974 and again between 1989 and 2002. This vehicle has become an icon and gained great reputation on roads and tracks. Nissan GT-R is a part of the Nissan Skyline GT-R history, although it no longer has a "skyline" coat of arms. Just like the Skyline GT-R generations, Nissan GT-R has a 6-cylinder 6-cylinder engine with a double-turbot and 4 round stop lamps that have become a symbol. However, the GT-R is a completely new model and has very few common points with other members of the Skyline family and has been completely redesigned rather than the evolution of small steps: the Four-wheel-routed HICAS system has been removed and the previously sequence RB26DETT engine has been replaced by V6 VR38Dett engine.
