ABOUT:
The Kurt Tank's team in Focke-Wulf has been working on a fast offensive-bombardment aircraft called TA 211 for a while, and this name took this name because it plans to use a raised Jumo 211R engine. The intended "TA 211" design was a high -winged dual -engine design made of plywood, glued with a special phenolic resin adhesive called TEGO Film. The only large -scale use of metal was in the pressure cockpit. When it was understood that the most suitable engine for the aircraft was the stronger Jumo 213 and that Junkers could not deliver, the definition of the project was changed to Reichsluftfahrtministerium (RLM - Ministry of Aviation) 8-154 (therefore 154). Due to technical and production problems, Jumo 211r time. In 154, the name "was allocated as a form of recognizing a mosque" Royal Air Force (RAF) Havilland Mosquito. At this time, Havilland Mosquito, also made of wood and very quickly, reached Germany. It quickly broke an impressive record; In the first 600 bombing mission, only one of them was dropped for mid and heavy bombardment aircraft, compared to an average of 5 %. Erhard Milch personally asked for a German response and chose 154. The internal conflicts within the German circles began almost instantly, because RLM and Night War Units - and Ernst Heinkel - Still wanted Heinkel He 219. Milch took this personally and spent a large part of the next two years trying to end Ernst Heinkel's wishes.
