ABOUT:
Me P.1111 Innovative Design was completed in January 1945 and was considered as an improvement.Messerschmitt P.1111 was an 8.92 m -length tail -free plane with a delta -shaped wings, scanned backwards at an angle of 45 degrees and with a wing of 9.12 m. The planned engine was a heinkel HEPP 011 Turbojet engine and the armament would be four 30 mm MK 108 balls.During a design review conference in Oberammergau on 27 and 28 February 1945, P. 1111 performed high -speed flight capability, departure, climbing and descent performance. Experts believe that these qualities showed the basic superiority of the flying wing structure type. However, p.1111 was rejected due to impossibility of protecting fuel.Only one wooden model was built. The project was later developed as ME P.1112.
