ABOUT:
Spitfire has been designed by RJ Mitchell, the chief designer of Supermarine Aviation Works, which has been operating as a subsidiary of Vickers-Armstrong since 1928, as a short-range, high-performance prevention aircraft. Mitchell pushed Spitfire's distinctive elliptical wing as the latest technology wreck. The rivets (designed by Beverley Shenstone) have the finest possible cross -section and help to give a higher speed than many contemporary hunter aircraft, including Hawker Hurricane on the plane. Mitchell continued to improve the design until his death in 1937, and he took over as his colleague Joseph Smithbaş designer and supervised Spitfire's development throughout many variantsDuring the British War, between July and October 1940, the People's perceived Spitfire as the main shelf warrior, but more Hurricane shouldered a larger part of Luftwaffe's burden of Nazi Germany, the air force of Nazi Germany. However, due to the higher performance of Spitfire, Spitfire units had a lower wear rate and a higher victory-casual ratio than flying Hurricane. During the war, the Spitfire was generally assigned to deal with Luftwaffe Hunter aircraft (mainly through the planes of Messerschmitt BF 109E), which was close to them. After the British War, Spitfire replaced Hurricane's backbone of Raf Fighter Command and received action in Europe, Mediterranean, Pacific and Southeast Asian Theaters. Spitfire, who was very popular by his pilots, served in various roles such as prevention, photo-kesif, hunter-bombardian aircraft and trainers and continued to serve in these roles until the 1950s. Seafire task was a carrier -based adaptation of the fleet air in the mid -1950s through 1942. Although the original body was designed to be supported by a Rolls-Royce Merlin, the engine, which produced 1.030 HP (768 kW), was increasingly strong and adapted to use Rolls-Royce Giffon engines producing 2,340 HP (1,745 KW) in later brands. As a result, Spitfire's performance and abilities have developed throughout the service life.
