Mercedes-Benz EQC (N293) is a battery-powered compact luxury crossover SUV model produced by Mercedes-Benz since 2019. The vehicle was first introduced as a concept called Generation EQ at the 2016 Paris Motor Show and the mass production was introduced in Sweden in 2018.EQC is Mercedes-Benz's first mass production car and the first model of the fully electric EQ family.EQC is based on the same axle distance dimensions of GLC and shares.  It is a vehicle of five people and has a luggage volume of 500 liters (18 CU FT). EQC400 4MATIC works with 2 asynchronous electric motors attached to the front and rear axles and produces 300 kW (402 hp) power. It has a maximum speed of 180 km/h (112 mph), which is electronically limited.The 80 kWh battery package has a modular design and consists of 384 lithium ion cells. DC fast charger can be charged from 10 percent to 80 percent in 40 minutes.
The steering wheel shovel changes allow regeneration selection of braking energy at changing levels.
