• Body and Cab Details: A 7-part telescopic boom profile, sharp claw details, and Link-Belt licensed logo details have been designed to be true to life. The operator and carrier cab interiors feature LED lighting elements.
• Movement Capability: The independent suspension system and excellent turning radius have been accurately modeled. The 2nd, 4th, and 5th axles are powered; Additionally, the crab steering function has been successfully modeled.
• Stabilizers and Counterweights: Metal outriggers (support legs) and bolted floor plates provide a setup option in the field. Modular counterweights can be mounted or removed from the carrier.
• Engineering Limitations: The main boom cylinder (piston) can be locked with a key, but the locking points on the piston are limited by notches and a soft plastic sleeve that is slightly behind modern standards.
• Assembly Challenges: The foldable canopy (extension) piece is mounted, but it is a bit tricky due to very small brass pins and working within limited areas. It is not recommended to fully extend the boom and mast with the counterweight due to the risk of tipover.
