This plastic model assembly kit recreates the S40 touring car developed by Volvo to compete in the 1997 touring car race. The 1/24 scale build accurately recreates the compact four-door sedan body style, measuring approximately 189 mm in length and 77 mm in width. The chassis has a richly detailed surface with its mechanically detailed front and rear suspension. The unique interior, where the driver's seat slides, has been faithfully modeled, including the extensive roll cage. Its simple appearance should not be overlooked.
