Aqueous Hobby Color is very soft in the paint. It provides a bright texture and very good leveling properties (ie smoothness of the coated paint film) and results in a very good painted surface level. In particular, the brightness level obtained by the use of Aqueous Hobby Color bright paints is perfect.
The brightness levels obtained using the bright coating aqueous Hobby Colors can be adjusted using H-40 Flat Base-Mix 5 %to 10 %for a semi-bright finish to convert bright colors into a matte finish. The Flat Base percent used can be adjusted to change the amount of brightness obtained.
As the main rule for dyeing with a brush, it is not necessary to thin the juicy hobby paint, but if you are using airbrush to spray the juicy hobby paint, thin the paint with 100 %to 150 %watery hobby paint (T -10 or T-111).
When painting with a brush, it is generally recommended for 1 to 2 layers and 2 to 3 floors when using Air Brush. If light color is painted on a darker base surface, more layer paint may be required.
