Aqueous Hobby Color was designed for safe and comfortable dyeing at home and was launched in 1982. In 2019, the main raw material design was revised for the first time in approximately 38 years, significantly increasing performance and safety. Now you can comfortably enjoy full-scale painting at home.

Water-soluble acrylic resin paint that can be diluted with water. The amount of organic solvent used is less than solvent-based acrylic resin paints and softer solvents are used. Therefore, the paint has a slight odor and is easy to use. After drying, the paint becomes water resistant. It can be diluted with water and tools can be washed before drying. After drying, please use Mr. Use Tool Cleaner Kai. The gloss and smoothness of the coating film are excellent.

Basically, no thinning is required for brush application. It can be used as is. If the viscosity is high, add a little water or water-based hobby color thinner to loosen the paint. For airbrush application, add approximately 1 part Aqueous Hobby Color Thinner to 1 part paint (dilution ratio 1:1). (The dilution ratio is approximately 1:1) Paint can be diluted with water, but the more water there is, the more likely it is to be repelled by the object. Also, the more water there is, the longer it takes to dry. For a beautiful result, apply 1 to 2 thin coats with a brush and 2 to 3 thin coats with an airbrush. If the base color is too dark and becomes transparent to the dyed color, apply additional coats as needed.

Add 15% or more of H40 Flat Base for matte colors and 5-10% for semi-gloss colors.

The durability of the coating film is increased and the glossy surface quality is improved. Drying speed has been increased. Due to the change in raw materials used (except for blue pigments/metallic pigments etc.) the number of pigments that can be used has been increased. As a result, the color and gloss of some paints have changed.

Attention: This product contains organic solvents. Ventilate well during and after use. Do not mix with other model paints.
