Produced between April 1994 and 2001, the BMW E38 is the third generation of the BMW 7 series. The flagship represented an evolution in the design language of the previous E32 generation. New 7, sequential six, V8 and V12 gasoline and sequential six and V8 diesel engines - in three axle openings: short (i), long (province) and limousine (L7). In 2001, the E38 was replaced with the E65 7 series.
