General-Dynamics F16 Falcon is an American single-motor, multi-purpose light hunter and stormtrooper aircraft. Studies on the F-16 project began in 1971 at General Dynamics (part of the Lockheed Martin giant in 1993) and participated in the light multi-purpose hunter (LWF) competition for the US Air Force. The YF-16 prototype made its first flight on February 2, 1974.
