Leopard 2, German production III. Generation is a main battle tank. The tank, which began to be developed in the 1970s, joined the German army in 1979 and was replaced with Leopard1 tanks. Leopard 2s were produced as 7 parties between 1985 and 1992. All elderly models have been converted to standard Leopard 2A4s. Germany used a total of 2,125 2A4 and the Netherlands 445 tanks. He produced the Swiss 2A4s licensed by PZ87. This version includes Swiss -made machine guns, communication equipment and NBC protection feature. Switzerland uses 380 PZ87.
