The Moskvitch-400 passenger car has been produced at the Moscow Small Automobile Factory (ZMA) since December 1946. It was a complete copy of the 4 -door Opel Kadett K38 variant before the war. It has been replaced with an improved Moskvitch-401 model with an increasing motor since 1954. Moskvitch cars were produced in different types. The highest number of 4-door indoor hall body had Moskvitch-401-420 cars. A total of 216 006 sedan was produced from 1946 to 1956.
