M3 Lee or Grant was the American heavyweight tool of the Second World War. The first prototypes were held in 1941 and mass production was started in 1941-1942. In total, approximately 6,300 copies of all versions of this tank were produced. During the mass production of M3 Lee, various versions of the car were created. The first chronologically was marked as M3 and still had rivet armor. This soon followed the casting armored version of the M3A1, and then the welded armored M3A2 arrived. The latest version was the riveted armored, but extended 37 mm barrel M3A5.
