McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II is a multi-purpose hunter-bombyan aircraft produced by American McDonnell Douglas Corparation.
It was first started in 1961.

Türkiye first ordered 40 F-4E with Peace Diamond I (Peace Diamond I) project and the aircraft began to be delivered to the Turkish Air Force in 1974.
In 1977, the second project was added to the F-4E fleet in the ‘Peace Diamond II’ ’.
Within the scope of Peace Diamond III in 1981, 16 F-4E of the US Air Force, and in the mid-1984, the F-4E of the USA and the United States retired from the US Air Force in 1987 were participated in the fleet in 1987.
