Oshkosh M911 is a modern American heavy truck. The vehicle entered the service of the US Army in 1977 and is still in service today. The length of the car (without trailer) is 9.3 meters and the width is 2.44 meters. The truck is running by a single diesel engine with 450 HP power by Detroit Diesel 8V92ta. The maximum speed of M911 is 72 km/h. It is approximately estimated. So far, 1,000 trucks of such types of trucks have been produced.

The M911 truck was developed by Oshkosh Corporation to replace the M746 tractor in the US army. In order to shorten the research and development time, the manufacturer decided to use the proven civilian F2365 truck. The main task of M911 vehicles is to carry tanks (eg M47 or M60), armored vehicles, swaddled motor howitter and other heavy materials. The M911 mostly works with the M747 semi -trailer with a maximum load capacity of 60 tons. The truck is designed to be transported by C-5 Galaxy or C-141 Starlifter aircraft to increase its strategic mobility. The only foreign user of the vehicle is Thailand. With the launch of M1 Abrams in the 1980s, the M911 truck was replaced by Oshkosh M1070, but it is still in service.
