The Zlin Z-42M model is a 1/72 scale replica of a Czechoslovakian-made civil training aircraft used for basic and intermediate VFR flight training, aerobatic training, night and instrument flight training. It is suitable for collectors and beginners due to its easy assembly. Expectations were low, this isn't Tamiya or Miniart. Most of the old Monogram parts are being used. However, the fit and molding quality is worse than an old Airfix. The Z-42 variants are used for basic and intermediate VFR flight training, basic aerobatic training, and night and instrument flight training.
