In 2010, Free Time Hobbies acquired Pacific Front Hobbies from Bill Gruner, who has been a ship modeling for a long time. Pacific Front moved from Roseburg Oregon to Blue Ridge Georgia and joined with Free Time Hobbies. In 2012, Blue Ridge Models were founded by my father and me as a production point to produce resin ship models as a expansion of Free Time Hobbies, especially the ship. Later in the same year, we bought Yankee Modelworks and Midship Models, once part of Trident Hobbies. When Chris Decker sold Trident Hobbies to us to focus on production, he held Yankee Modelworks and Midship Models. Chris later sold Yankee/Midhyp to Rick Menze, and he finally sold it to us. Other brands previously purchased by Chris and joined in Yankee were Blue Water Navy and Classic Warships (Kits, not books). After purchasing Yankee/Midhyp ...
