Designed as the primary fighter aircraft of the US Navy, the F-14 Tomcat was able to perform air superiority, accompanying and attack tasks, and was undoubtedly one of the most sophisticated and technologically developed aircraft serving an aircraft carrier. The prototype machine flew on December 21, 1970 and the first aircraft was delivered to the US Navy after four years. The last Tomcat planes were only out of service in 2006, which shows the high quality and great performance of this machine perfectly. F-14 also owes most of its success to the excellent power unit in the form of a Pratt-Whitney TF30 engine with a 9300 Dan pushing power and an increase.
