Hobbytime Review

Aichi D3A TYPE 99 Carrier Bombardment Aircraft (Allied Reporting name "Val") [a] is a diving aircraft from World War Aircraft Aircraft Carrier. The Japanese Empire Navy (IJN) was the primary pike bombardment plane and took part in almost all IJN actions, including the Pearl Harbor attack.
Aichi D3A was the first Japanese plane to bomb American goals in the war, starting from US bases such as Pearl Harbor and Clark Air Force Base in the Philippines. They sank more allied warships than other aircraft planes.
The first prototype was completed in December 1937 and a month later, flight trials started and then called D3A1. The first tests were disappointed. The power of the aircraft was insufficient and suffered from the imbalance of direction in large turns and tend to suddenly rolve in narrower turns. Dive brakes trembled violently when extended at the design speeds of 200 knots (370 km/h), and the navy already wanted a faster diving speed like 240 knots (440 km/h)
The second aircraft was extensively changed before delivery to try to solve problems. The power was increased by replacing Hikari with 626 kW (839 hp) Mitsubishi Kinsei 3 in a redesigned bodybuilda and the vertical tail was expanded to help the imbalance. The opening of the wings was slightly larger, and the outer parts of the front edges were worn to combat sudden rolls, and reinforced diving brakes were installed. These changes improved all problems except directional instability, and D3A1 was sufficient to overcome the Nakajima D3n 1.

About Hasegawa

Hasegawa Corporation (株式会社ハセガワ, Kabushiki Gaisha Hasegawa) is a Japanese company that produces plastic model kits of various vehicles, including aircraft, cars, ships, military vehicles, model armor, model spacecraft and science fiction kits. Hasegawa, headquartered in Shizuoka, does not have such a wide range of products, but competes with his neighbor Tamiya. First of all, Hasegawa kits that use the polystyrene are typically considered very accurate, but still lack the ease of assembly offered by Tamiya Kits, although it is very high.

Hobbico is imported to North America by the Great Planet Model Distributor Department. Hasegawa ended his long -standing agreement with Dragon Models Limited for US distribution in early 2010. Hasegawa also brings Revell to Japan, which sells them to Japan and sells them under both the Revell brand and their own brand label, and Revell often re -boxes for European and North American markets. Hasegawa Kits, which do not have their own paint products series, come with instructions that indicate the use of Gunze Sangyo products, especially GSI Creos brand paints. This is contrary to Tamiya, which determines the use of in -house brands. Hasegawa is known for launching a large number of main products, adding or changing a small number of parts, or changing stickers only for SOE. This strategy allows them to raise the return of their investment in SET tools to the highest level, because the production of such small variations is very low compared to the production cost of the original. Most of such variations are usually published only once.
