Douglas A-1 Skyraider (formerly AD-1) is an American attack plane serving from 1946 to the mid-1970s. It was one of the last mutual aircraft in the world. During the period of service for many years, numerous versions of the aircraft were created and adapted for close -up or early warning. The first prototype flew in March 1945, but mass production II. It began after the end of World War II. During the Korean War, the plane had a great job by performing many successful attacks against North Korean land targets. A-1 aircraft served during the Vietnam conflict, where they caused relatively high losses. The aircraft was produced in seven basic versions (D-1 to AD-7), which are increasingly different from each other with stronger engines and developed body structure. The basic versions were also modified and adapted to more specialized tasks, which resulted in a dozen upside down, the most interesting of them is AD-3W (Early Warning Aircraft), AD-4B (tactical bombardment aircraft adapted to carry nuclear weapons) or AD-4S (ZOP aircraft). A-1 aircraft and numerous versions were exported to France, Great Britain and South Vietnam.
