Mitsubishi Galant is a Japanese sub-medium, which was first introduced to the public in 1969, and then the middle class car. The mass production started in the same year and lasted until 2012, so the model was produced for more than 40 years! During production, more than 5 million cars were produced from this model. Production mainly concentrated in Okazaki in Japan and its normal cities in the USA.

Mitsubishi Galant was developed and made into production to expand the company's proposal and increase its share in the sub -middle -class car segment at the beginning. The first generation of the galant model was called Colt Galant and was largely based on the COLT 1500 in terms of both design and technical solutions.
