Toyota Supra is a Japanese sports passenger car introduced to the public in 1978 for the first time. The mass production started the same year and lasted until 2002. The production of the next generation of this model will probably be released in 2018 or 2019. During the 1978-2002 period, the automobile was run with a relatively narrow 6-cylinder gasoline engine range with a capacity of 2.0 to 3.0 liters depending on the version.

The Supra model was initially developed by the automotive company Toyota Motor Corporation as an improved version of the Celica model and was put into mass production. The new car was designed to compete with Nissan Fairlady Z cars in the market. Initially, Toyota Supra was primarily designed for Japan and North American markets. During the production, between 1978-2002, four generations of the Supra model were created and they were only presented as a completely independent model from the third generation (produced in 1986-1993). In addition, Toyota began to differ significantly from Celica. The 5th generation production will begin in 2018 or 2019.
