Although Faller's model of Hirschsprung Station differs from the original structure of the Höllental railway in the Black Forest, it is notable for its striking red tile roof and attractive decorations on the platform. This line, known as the steepest railway line in Germany, today passes through the narrowest point of the Hirschsprung pass at the valley floor. Although the station now merely acts as a junction, this miniature model offers a great opportunity to bring Black Forest railway history to life on your own layout!
