PZKPFW I (Panzerkampfwagen I) was a German light tank from the Second World War. The first prototypes of the vehicle were created in 1933 and mass production continued during the 1934-1939 period and ended with about 2,000 vehicles. Version A of the tank was operated with a single Krupp M305 57HP engine. Two 7.92 mm mg 13 machine rifles were placed in the tower. The first studies on PZKPFW began in 1930 with the order of working on a tracked vehicle designed for discovery and weapon transportation contrary to the provisions of the Versailles Treaty of the German Armed Office. The Krupp company followed the British designs of Vickers' British designs very quickly in these works without accessing British technologies. In 1933, the first crawled chassis used to train drivers was created and mass production began in 1934, when the Germans terminated the Treaty of Versailles. Two basic types of PZKPFW I have been created: A and B. A A and B. A was the first mass production version, while version B had a modernized suspension and chassis and a new engine - Maybach nl 38 TR.
