Neubaufahrzeug was the prototype of a German heavy tank from the Second World War. The first prototypes of the vehicle were produced in 1933 and by 1936, 5 of them were produced from this car. However, Neubaufahrzeug has never moved to mass production. The vehicle was operated with Maybach HL 108TR only 280 HP. A single 75 mm kWk 37 l/24 or 105 mm kWk L/28 ball, a single 37 mm kWk 36 balls and 5 pieces of 7.92 mm mg13 machine gun was armed.

Neubaufahrzeug emerged with the increase in interest in the centuries -old tanks spreading to Europe in the 1930s. As it is understood, this was also a good experimental field for German armored weapons designers. Two companies were responsible for the production of Neubufahrzeug car: Krupp and Rheinmetall-Borsig. The first was a 105 mm ball as the main weapon and a 75 mm ball was used in the second. These cannons were placed in turning turrets like secondary weapons (unlike the French Char B1 bis). The only time Neubaufahrzeug was used in the war was when one of the wagons disappeared during the occupation of Norway in 1940.
