About

SDKFZ 7

SDKFZ 7 (SONDERKRAFAHRZEUG 7) by Wehrmacht during the Nazi Germany II. It is a semi -crawled tool used for military purposes during World War II.

SDKFZ 7 was designed as 7.87 tons in 1934. Firstly, in 1938, it was used to pull an 8.8 cm vial ball. The vehicle was able to pull the 12 -person infantry and nearly 8 tons of balls. Thanks to the crane attached, their capabilities were increased. (SDKFZ 7/1 and SDKFZ 7/2) models were used in the air defense by installing anti -aircraft weapons. V-2 (Vergeltungswaffe 2) was also used as a control and control tool for rockets. These vehicles were so much appreciated by the enemy that the seized vehicles were repaired and used.

The 7/1 Model 2 cm AA 38 Four -barreled aircraft, the 7/2 model has a 3.7 cm AA 36 single -barreled aircraft. The crew protects the crew in the thick armor vehicle around the cabin.

VALL43

3.7 cm Vial 43, by the Nazi German army Wehrmacht II. It was the middle caliber anti -aircraft weapon used during World War II. Unlike other countries, the Germans did not use these 37 mm weapons much.

The first 37 mm ball was produced by Rheinmetall in 1935 under the name of 3.7 cm Flugzeugabwehrkanone 18. In fact, this weapon was the 2 cm barrel of the barrel L/89 of the barrel, which was enlarged and could throw a bullet of 37 mm. As with the vial 30, this weapon used the automatic ignition system. However, this system did not affect the firing ability of the weapon. The gun had a capacity of 160 bullets per minute. The total weight of the gun was 1,175 kg.

Flak 18 guns were produced until 1936 in very few pieces. This was due to the production of 2 cm Vurfierling 38 and the four -barreled model of the vial 30 balls. Production then continued with a two -barreled 1544 kg with a wheeled 3.7 vial 36. A year later, 3.7 vial 37 models with new engagement system began to be produced. Then all the weapons began to be upgraded to vial 37 standards. The new model was produced in 1942 and a total of 1178 units were produced by 1944.

With the seizure of air superiority towards the middle of the war by the Allied Air Force, 20 mm weapons remained weak, these weapons were displaced with 37 mm weapons. The ignition system of the newly produced weapons went to the gas explosion ignition and reached 250 bullets per minute. The total weight of the gun fell to 1247 kg. Thanks to these changes, the production of the weapon became easier. This new weapon was called 3.7 vial 43 and the model of the two barrels of it was called 3.7 cm flakzwilling 43.

Flak 37 was mounted on semi -crawled vehicles called SDKFZ 7 or Schwere Wehrmachtschlepper. The new Vial 43 model was used by mounting on almost completely motor vehicles. The most famous of these were Möbelwagen, which was transformed from Panzer IV tanks, and then the deadly anti -aircraft vehicles called Ostwind.

If we compare the 40 mm Bobirs of the Allies and the Vial 43 model, the German weapon had twice the firepower. It was also smaller and lighter. If this weapon had emerged in the early years of the war, it would have really bad consequences for the Allied Air Force. However, for some political reasons, the weapon developed in 1942 began to be produced in 1944, which was too late. A total of 928 single and 185 double -barreled models were produced.
