The German 1st Parachute Division was re -deployed in February 1944 to defend the Monte Cassino city of Italy. If the Allies were going to ride north on the Roman road, they had to break the Gustav line, which was connected to Monte Cassino. This town was located on both sides of the Rapido River flowing rapidly and was a perfect defense point for the German winter line, supported by upright mountains. In Monte Cassino, there were violent clashes of four wars between the German and allied forces. After the allies bombed the historical Benedictine Monastery on February 15, the German parachutists invaded the remains.

Dragon recently released a set of four allied soldiers fighting in Monte Cassino. This set, which was welcomed with excitement, has been added to a 1/35 scale version depicting the German side. Four figures molded with plastic injection are German parachutists who participate in the severe breast collision that characterizes most of the Monte Cassino Battle. These soldiers wear standard Fallschirmjager equipment and uniform. Although they do not have Gen2 figures, they are well armed with Gen2 weapons such as Kar98k and MP-40. Such well -defined weapons will be a blessing for modelists. Molded details are cut sharply and properly and poses are quite realistic. In fact, poses are carefully designed to fit the rugged land and rubble species in Monte Cassino. Although these four figures can easily create a vignette on their own, Dragon's other Fallschirmjager defenders, Dra-6005 Fallschirmjager (Monte Cassino 1944) and Dra-6215 Fallschirmjager 8cm mortar team can also be united without any problems.
