About
Grille (German: "Cricket"), II. During World War II, a series of shoes used by Nazi Germany were motorized artillery vehicles. The Grille Series Czech Panzer was based on the 38 (T) tank chassis and used 15 cm SIG 33 infantry weapons.
For Grille, the original order for 200 units would withstand the new 38 (T) AUSF. The chassis developed by the BMM (Böhmisch-mährische Maschinenfabric) caused production to start in 38 (t) AUSF.
Grille's first variant Panzer 38 (T) was based on Ausf. H chassis, the engine behind. The vehicle had a low superstructure and war compartment instead of turret. The 15 cm Schweres Infanteriegeschütz 33 (heavy infantry weapon) was mounted in front of this armored compartment. The body armor built on a tank chassis was 50 mm (front) and superstructure armor was 25 mm (front)
From February to June 1943, a total of 200 (including a prototype) was produced in the BMM (čkd Praga) factory in Prague, and 10 more people were built in November 1943.
