Marder III (SD.KFZ 138 and 139) was a German tank hunter from the Second World War. The first prototypes of the vehicle were built in 1942 and mass production continued during the 1942-1944 period and ended with the production of approximately 970 vehicles. The MARDER III was strengthened with a single Prague EPA engine with various versions with a capacity of 125-150HP. 1 F-22 Model 1936 Cal. 76.2 mm (SD. Kfz. 139) ball or 1 Pak 40 Cal. 75 mm (SD. Kfz. 138) Ball and 1 Piece MG34 or MG42 Cal. 7.92 mm was armed with a machine gun. MARDER III was created as a result of a hardware shortage of a mobile tank ball that can destroy the Soviet T-34 and KW-1 in Wehrmacht. In order to minimize the time of test and production, the MARDER III was created with the chassis of the PZKPFW 38 (T) tank, which was then excluded from service, and the main weapon in the original version was the Soviet F-22 ball seized. Three varieties of this vehicle were produced in mass production. The first was called SD.KFZ 139 Marder III and the soviet seized 76.2mm F-22 ball mentioned above was armed with a 125HP engine. SD.KFZ 138 MARDER III AUSF was established soon. Equipped with the German 75mm PAK 40 balls and a 140hp engine, H. finally, the latest version of the mass produced, SD.KFZ 138 MARDER III AUSF with a closed crew with a closed crew and 150HP engine with still PAK 40 balls. M.
