SD.KFZ 251 was a German middle, semi -crawled armored vehicle from the Second World War. The first prototypes of the vehicle were built in 1935, mass production continued in 1939-1945 and ended with about 14,500 production. SD.KFZ 251 was developed as the new, basic semi -palette carrier of the German Armed Forces. During mass production, four basic versions of SD.KFZ 251 (AUSF. Chronologically, the first was SD.KFZ 251/1, which was equipped with two MG34 or MG42 machine guns and can carry up to 10 union. In 1941, a version of SD.KFZ 251/2 of 80 mm mortar was developed.
