The Vietnam People's Army, also known as the Northern Vietnam Army (NVA) during the Vietnam War of 1964 / 1965-1975, was founded in December 1944. In 1954, Dien Bien gave them a great defeat during the PHO War. Both in this war and during the Vietnam War (1964 / 1965-1975), the primary species of the NVA was an infantry. This was due to economic reasons, and on the other hand, the Vietnam land, which made it impossible to use mechanized and armored units on a larger scale. During the war of 1964/1965-1975, the NVA managed to bring about 450,000-500,000 military war at a time. Army, TT and PM pistols, seized matte 49 light machine guns, white and AKM rifles, RPD and DP machine guns used various types of weapons. It is often forgotten that the artillery units of the NVA (eg 107 and 120 mm mortar), anti-aircraft weapons and armored forces consisting of vehicles such as T-54, T-55 or PT-76. The main strategy of the Northern Vietnam forces was to give American troops the greatest possible losses and withdraw them from conflict. The exceptions of this strategy (for example, the test attack in 1968) supported only these assumptions. It is worth adding that this strategy is correct and that the NVA (with Vietkong) had finally won the Vietnam War, despite the major losses estimated to have killed approximately 650,000-800,000 people.

The Vietnamese War, also known as the Second Scheme War (called the Vietnam War), from 1964 (events in the Gulf of Tonkin) or 1965 (first, the larger American forces to Vietnam), ie the occupation of the South Vietnam through the North Vietnam. The opponents of this war were the guerrillas of the United States supporting the South Vietnam and North Vietnam on the one hand and the Communist Vietkong guerrillas supported by the CCC and the USSR (one or another). At once, let us assume that the North Vietnam added about 690,000 troops to the conflict, and that Vietkong - about 200,000 people, and the United States of the United States, had about 540,000 American troops in 1969. The emergency cause of the conflict was the allegations and ambitions of Northern Vietnam's allegations of capturing power and control over the southern neighbor, which the United States could not accept and did not want to accept. The Vietnamese War was an excellent example of the guerrilla war, which the US had lost significant losses by the highly developed technological armed forces and lost in conflict with the armed forces that cannot be comparable. From a purely military perspective, US troops can cause great losses to their rivals (for example, the test attack in 1968), but it is worth adding that it completely lost on the so -called "interior". It is often assumed that the Vietnamese War was lost by the United States because of the tensions in American society, the reluctance of the war and the inability to present a convincing reason for the US institution. The Vietnam War ended in 1975 with a full defeat of the United States, which had to withdraw from Vietnam and had to compromise by the unification of Vietnam by the communist government in Hanoi. The prestige of this country in the international arena has decreased significantly for a while.
