The story of Diecast Masters began 30 years ago when a young Australian Hong Kong called John McNickle approached Mr. Yu-Lee Fung to make some press-scale models. Mr. Fung, who founded his business in 1978, was ready to undertake the project, willing and talented. Mr. McNickle delivered his perfect models to his customers on time and within the budget. Thus, a bond between the two men until Mr. Fung's death in 2014 began. When Mr. Fung and Mr. McNick first met, Yu Lee Industrial Company's factory was in Hong Kong. However, Mr. Fung joined the growing wave of entrepreneurs entering the Pearl River Delta of the South China, and was built in Yu Lee Industrial's first factory in Dongguan.
