The D11R and D11R carrier dozer, Las Vegas were introduced at Minexpo International in Nevada, both of them were 770 HP (570 kW), and then to 850 HP (630 kW) in 1997. Other improvements in D11R were finger -end controls and electronic clutch and brakes. Finger -tip controls (FTC) allowed D11R to be directed with small fingertips on the left. D11R is now weighing 230.935 lb (104.750 kg). The Carrydozer version has a special knife with a curvature that allows push to push 57 CY (43.6 m³). This knife design was introduced by Komatsu in 1995 on D575 A-2 dozers as the SuperDozer version. The deeper curvature of the carrier/superdozer blades carries the dirt that literally carried and the weight of the load increases the pressure on the lower tool and thus increases the traction of the bulldozer. The increasing weight on the lower tool also means higher contact pressure between reel and pallet beans that can significantly increase wear. When selecting a Carrydozer version, these higher lower tool costs should be considered. Komatsu developed an extended superdazer sub -team with two additional cylinders per side to reduce the abrasion, a step in which Caterpillar avoided in Carrydozer machines. Carrydozer significantly strengthened the structure for extra weight and a much larger knife carried by the front, and an additional weight block was attached to the remover.
