Akagi was a Japanese aircraft carrier, whose backbone was laid in 1920, launched in November 1925 and was put into service in the Japanese Empire Navy in March 1927. The length of the ship was 260.7 m, the width was 31.3 m and the full displacement was 41,300 tons. The maximum rate of the aircraft carrier was approximately 30-31 knots and the main weapon equipment consisted of 91 aircraft.Akagi, like another Japanese aircraft carrier KAGA, was built as a passenger ship as part of the '8+8' fleet expansion program, but the work was stopped due to the international commitments of the Tokyo government and the body would be scrapped. But ultimately, it was decided to build an aircraft carrier on a large extent completed body, and this decision really took place. When it was put into service, Akagi had three flight decks, but with the development of aviation technology, a comprehensive reconstruction was taken between 1935-1938. As a result, the shape of the body was radically changed and only one flight deck was preserved. II. During World War II, Akagi joined the Pearl Harbor attack in December 1941 and fought at Bismarck Archipelago to support Rabaul in early 1942. In April of this year, he also attended the famous rally of the Japanese fleet in the Indian Ocean. He joined the Battle of Midway (June 1942) where he was sunk by American planes.Nakajima B5N is a three-person Japanese bombardment-shock aircraft produced in low wing configuration in the Second World War. The prototype's flight took place in 1937 and was put into service a year later. The B5N was an answer to the needs of the Imperial Navy for the newly established torpedo plane. Construction works led by Katsuji Nakamura continued in 1935-1937. When the Pacific War began, the B5N was a better plane than the rival allied machines, especially TBD Devastator. The most widely produced version of the aircraft was the B5N2 Model 12, which uses Nakajima NK1A SAKAE 11, a new engine produced in December 1939 with 970km power. The B5N planes participated in many wars in the Pacific and performed very well in the Pearl Harbor attack, the Battle of the Coral Sea and the Battle of Midway. From 1943/1944, these aircraft were transferred to aviation schools and served as a Kamikaze aircraft. Approximately 1150 copies were produced from all versions. Technical Data (Version B5N2): Length: 10.3 m, Wing Openness: 15,52 m, height: 3.7 m, maximum speed: 378 km/h, climbing speed: 6.5 m/s, maximum range: 1992 km, maximum ceiling 8260 m, armament: fixed-1 Type 92 Calibre 7.7 mm machinery, 800 kg weight or the same bomb loaded with the same bomb. HAND-1 TYPE 91 torpedo.
