Junkers Ju-87 Stuka (the abbreviation of Sturzkampflugzeug, which means a pike bombardment in German), is a single-engine bombardment aircraft with a completely metal structure in a classic queue, reverse seagull wings and a completely metal structure. The Ju-87 is one of the most famous Luftwaffe planes, which is the symbol of its power alongside the ME-109. At the beginning of the war (1939-1941), it became a symbol of Blitzkrieg's (Lightning War) and often caused panic among enemy soldiers, inserting a certain sound during the pique flight (called Jerchońskie Trunks). Hermann Pohlmann was the creator of the machine, and the Ju-87 took off in 1935 for the first time, and two years later he started production. During the civil war in Spain, he could be effective in the tasks he was created without encountering a serious enemy in the air. Thanks to a very steep dive possibility, it maintained a relatively low speed and reached a very high bombing efficiency. Stuka's reputation was confirmed by its activities in Poland, the Netherlands, France, Greece and Crete. However, during the Battle of British, the downs of the landing sets were massacred by the shelf aircraft permanently mounted and as a result, they were assigned to attack less defended targets. On the Eastern Front, the Ju-87 played a role as a close support aircraft and an excellent tank hunter. Luftwaffe pilot Hans Ulrich Rudel, who was awarded the most, destroyed 519 Soviet tanks on his own account.

During the war, the production of Ju-87 was suspended many times, but it turned out that there was no other plane that could always replace it.
