Ford's President Bunkie Knudsen received the fifth 1969 Mustang Boss 429 from the assembly line to take care of performance as his personal pony car. This striking example, which has a rare color combination of black and gold lines, was one of the seven prototype boss 429 created by Kar-Kraft for Ford Motor Company. The number of 1205 seems to have been made for a single purpose: soothing the boss. The Mustang also included a pronounced gold hood with buckets, a harmonious tailgate, rear laths, special boss 429 c-consumption and a gold-emphasized tail panel. Inside, there was an interior, a four -speed transmission and air conditioner. Mustang did not last long in Knudsen's property. His mission at Ford ended in 1969 and the car was sold.
