GTs lost Cobra tags for 1969 and were once again marketed as Shelby GT350 and Shelby GT500. For the 1969 year year, the GT350 and GT500 received a comprehensive face lift, the body alone increased by 4 inch (100 mm), and some reached 10 inches (250 mm).
