Fouga CM.170 Magister is a French, double -engine training aircraft designed by Fouga et Cie. It is the first French jet aircraft. The prototype flight took place on July 23, 1952 and delivered to linear units in 1954. In addition to an unusual butterfly tail, the machine was distinguished by excellent flight parameters and high general quality of the structure. Two Turboméc were strengthened by Marboré IIA engine. There was also a special version of the French navy in 1959 (CM.175 Zephyr). The aircraft was undergraduate in Germany, Finland and Israel. At the last of these countries, cm.170 light attack aircraft was made with light weapons, bombs and non -steel air -to -land missiles. In 1967, those who participated in the Six Day War were redesigned in this way. Due to its very good features, the plane served in the French army until the 1980s.
