AI Kfir C-2 / C-7 was a single-man, Israeli-made attack warplane with a metal, half shell structure called a duck layout. The provocation is provided by a single general-Electric J-79-J1E motor. The prototype flight took place in 1973 and the machine was put into service in 1976. He's still there.

The IAI KFİR C-2 / C-7 was created by combining a very successful Mirage 5 body and the American General Electric engine that strengthened the F-4 Phantom II fighter planes. The avionics of the machine were also changed significantly, and in later versions, a tail that significantly increased the maneuverability of the new machine to the front of the body. Finally, a plane with better performance, better maneuverability and better electronics was created than Mirage 5 or Phantom II. During mass production, various development versions of the Kfir aircraft were produced. The first series was Kfir C-1, and a short time after the Kfir C-2 version was created. In 1983, the delivery of the C-7 version, a special type of attack, began. Kfir C-2/C-7 aircraft took an active role in all the armed conflicts of Israel, especially the Lebanese intervention, after 1976. The aircraft were first used by Israel, but at the same time was exported to Ecuador, Colombia and Sri-Lanka. They were also used for educational purposes in the US Navy for several years.
