M41 Walker Bulldog was officially an American light tank developed for armed discovery purposes. It was produced by Cadillac between 1951 and 1954 and II. Although it was designed as a tool of discovery, the weight and weapon of the M41 also made it effective in close infantry support and rapid air deployment. After entering the US service, all the M41s Little Bulldog and then the General Walton Walker, who died in a Jeep accident in 1950, was named after Walker Bulldog. The development of M41 progressed slowly until the Korean War broke out, and the renewed demands of the US Army for more tanks caused rapid production. The first production rate caused technical problems, and when the relatively narrow dimensions of the inner body were combined, it gained a mediocre reputation between the American tank crew. It was also considered great for discovery compared to Chaffee. For the M41 program, the fund was reduced accordingly, and more importance was given to the development of new main battle tanks such as M47 Patton. Cadillac stopped the production of M41A1 at the end of 1954. In the 1960s, M551 was replaced with Sheridan.
