The Penydarrene Locomotive is a steam locomotive (steam locomotive) produced in 1804 and is experimentally operated in the Merthyr Tydfil, Wales in Wales. Sometimes the Invicta name is used to identify this tool - not exactly correct - it had a type B axle system and could only reach a speed of about 4 km / h. The founder was the British inventor and engineer Richard Trevithick, who created a de facto steam locomotive for the Coalbrookdale company a year ago. However, the company decided not to maintain cooperation with the inventor and could not find a use for its invention. Shortly thereafter, Richard Trevithick began collaborating with the Cenydarren Ironworks. And in February 1804, a new tool was created that could move back and forth on the rails without major problems. However, the large mass of the engine caused the pallets to be adapted to such a large mass crack. Unfortunately, more work on this locomotive has been suspended, and only one of them has not survived.
