Hobbytime Review

Jagdpanther was a German tank hunter from the Second World War. The first prototypes of the vehicle were created in 1943 and mass production continued in 1944-1945 and ended with the production of 392 cars. Jagdpanther, 700 HP Maybach HL 230 P30 is strengthened with a single engine. 1 88mm PAK 43 L/71 balls and 1 7.92mm MG34 machine gun was armed.

In August 1942, Jagdpanther was created in response to the request of the German army for a new tank hunter. In response to this request, the facilities cooperated by Krupp and Daimler-Benz developed a pre-technical specification based on the chassis of the PZKPFW V Panther tank and the models approved by the German army. The new tank hunter had a strong weapon that could destroy all kinds of enemy vehicles in the 1944-1945 period, as well as a good profile armor in the front of the vehicle. The disadvantages were the high unit costs of the vehicle, which effectively slows the complex production process and mass production. Jagdpanther made his first release on the battlefield in Normandy in the summer of 1944, and then fought against the Western allies in France and at the beginning of 1944-1945 Ardennes. He appeared on the eastern front in the autumn of 1944 and successfully fought both T-34 and heavy IS-2. After World War II, Jagdpanther served in the French army until the 1960s!
