Hobbytime Review

The T-34 was a Soviet Middle Tank of the Second World War and the post-war period.
The first prototypes were produced in 1937-1940 and mass production in the USSR was realized in 1940-1957. Approximately 84,000 vehicles of this kind of route have been produced, which makes T-34 one of the most produced tanks in history! The drive was provided with a single V-2-34 engine of 500 HP. In the T34/76 version, the length of the car was 6.68 m and the width was 3 meters. The arming consisted of 76.2 mm F-34 balls and two 7.62 mm dt machine guns. The main weapon in the T-34/85 version was 85 mm ZIS-S-53 ball.

T-34 undoubtedly both II. World War II is also one of the most famous tanks in military history in general, and represents a certain symbol of the Soviet victory in the war against the Third Reich. The vehicle was developed as the successor of the tracking tanks in the IT series (IT-5 and BT-7) for the needs of the Red Army. Studies on the car started in 1937 at the Special Design Office in the Steam Motor Factory in Kharkiv. Initially, the work was managed by ENG. Adolf Dik (also made the first drawings of the new car) and was arrested by the Soviet security officials after the arrest of Mikhail Koszkin. Initially, the vehicle was determined as A-20. However, a second prototype (A-32), whose main weapon was 76.2 mm ball and much thicker front armor, was rapidly produced. Finally, it was the second prototype adopted for production. When TT-34 is put into service, it can be assumed that it is a very successful tank in many ways. He was characterized by a very powerful weapon as in 1940; In addition to a good profile armor based on curved armor plates, it had very high mobility and driving features in the field. Disadvantages include very weak ergonomics of the vehicle or weak optics used in the first production parties. Despite these deficiencies, the German troops were very surprised when the T-34 appeared on the eastern front. The high general rating and war values of the T-34 determined mass production and made it the main tank of the Red Army in the wars of 1942-1945. They also led to more improvement in the structure; For example, a new hexagonal tower emerged in 1942, which increased the working quality of the crew members with the commander's cup. Engine and transmission were also developed. However, in 1944, the T-34/85 model was put into service with a completely new taret and 85 mm ball-shaped main weapon. The T-34 tank fought in almost all the great wars between the Red Army and Wehrmacht on the eastern front in 1941-1945: Stalingrad and Kursk wars, Bagration operation and Berlin. After 1945, the T-34 tank was still in service and was widely exported to countries such as Czechoslovakia, Poland, East Germany, Hungary and Syria, apart from the USSR.
