Hobbytime Review
Mitsubishi A6M Reisen (also known as Zero or Zeke) is a Japanese single -engine, full metal low -wing warplane from the Second World War. The prototype's flight took place on April 1, 1939 and put into service in the summer of 1940. The first prototypes were working with Mitsubishi Zuisei 13 engine, but since the A6M2 Model 11, Nakajima NK1B Sakae 12 was used. The 950 HP engine was used, which made the plane one of the best fighters of the early war period. New versions were created just before and during the war. One of the most famous was the A6M2 Model 21, a special folded -wing version designed for aircraft carriers, which was prepared at the beginning of the Pacific War and became a basic Japanese hunter aircraft. The next versions are A6m3 and A6M5 and each has various versions. The first was used in 1130 HP Nakae 21 engines with compressors, but this meant a decrease in weight, range and maneuverability. In the A6M5 version, this problem was tried to be solved by increasing the maximum speed by changing the exhaust system, changing the shape of the wings and abandoning the necessity of folding. The flight of this version took place in 1943 and remained in production until the end of the war. One of the most widely produced versions of the A6M5 is that the A6M5C model 52C «Hei» aircraft produced by approximately 5,000 units. "Zero" aircraft took part in the entire war in the Pacific and served as deck fighters, at the same time, at the same time served as military warriors. The "father" of this famous aircraft was Jiro Horikoshi, who relied on my experience of working on the M5A plane. It has managed to develop a plane with excellent aerodynamic features, excellent and wide range for war, high maneuverability. However, this was achieved at the expense of armor and due to the lack of self -sealing fuel tanks. Moreover, due to the lack of power to be compared to American machines, the war has developed every year of the war every year, from 1943 to the "super-car" "zero", weaker rival P-51, P-47 or F. -4 or F-6. It also appeared to be a very vulnerable machine against the damage and a very vulnerable machine against fire. However, this does not change the fact that the Allies did not have a plane that could compete with A6M Zero until 1943. Technical Data (A6M2 Model 21 Version): Length: 9,06 m, Wing Openness: 12 m, Height: 3.05 m, Maximum Speed: 533 km/h, Climbing Speed: 15.7 m/s, maximum range: 3105 km, maximum ceiling 10000 m, armament: Fixed - 2 pieces of 20 mm type 99-1 ball and 2 pieces of 7,7 mm type 97 mm type 97 mm type 97 mm type 97 mm type. Hanging - Bomb up to 250 kg.
