McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II is first developed by McDonnell Douglas for the United States Navy, tandem two-seat, double-engine, suitable for all weather conditions.
Proofing that it was an extremely useful aircraft, in 1961, before the US Marine Corps and the United States were accepted by the Air Force, it first became put into service with the navy and became an important part of the existing air weapons in the mid -1960s. Phantom production took place by a total of 5,195 aircraft from 1958 to 1981, which made it the most produced American Supersonic military planes in history and reinforced the position of being the iconic warplane of the Cold War.
